Current Rules

• Squad of 10 *Team of 7 on pitch

• Pitch Size 40m by 30m (Roughly Half a normal pitch size)

• Minimum 2 of each gender on the pitch when playing

• 5 points for a win, 3 point for a draw and 1 point for a loss

• One referee per game

• Whistle to start and end games

• Pass from centre to start, and pass for free passes (no need to tap the ball first)

• Subs can be swapped at any time as long as the refs know

• Pass BACKWARDS or SIDEWAYS only

• Once tagged you have 3 steps or 3 seconds to pass the ball (UNLESS you are next to the try line, you are ONLY allowed 1 step after tag to score the try!)

• Once tagged you must pass the ball and retrieve your tag (If you tag a player it is YOUR responsibility to return the tag!)

• Tags thrown on the floor will result in a free pass to the other team

• If the ball is knocked forward OR caught off-side a free pass will be given to the other team

• No 'Hands off' to be used - pushing hands away to protect the ball. (One spin is permitted but no more)

• To score you must run/walk the ball on or over the line with a (Players ground to score, but must not lose control of the ball)

• Good defence will be rewarded by only allowing 5 TAGS.  At the 5th tag the ref will stop and award a free pass, where the tag took place, to the defending team.

• Neutral referees will be used - please respect the referees decision!
